Following a sell out first collection, the highly anticipated second collection from Karl Lagerfeld's KARL collection has arrived in BT2 Grafton Street.
Details, fabrics and textures dare to mix for the new KARL collection that is full of surprises, and more than a little tongue-in-cheek. Rock’n’roll and glamour meld with military influences to create a silhouette that is immediately recognisable as KARL. The key elements of the designer’s wardrobe – the white shirt, the black jacket, the biker – form the basis of a collection that embraces both elegance and fantasy.
The notorious KARL print appears for day and evening alike, printed on sweatshirt fabric or chiffon. If the master’s autograph itself becomes a print on a skirt or T-shirt, his signature accessories – the fingerless leather gloves and high collar – accompany every look. A streamlined palette of black, white and silver is shaken up with touches or dark red and bright orange.
